First trial in baking pineapple tart
I came across a pineapple tart recipe for HCP on the Munchies website and and I finally got a chance to try this recipe few weeks ago. For the first batch, I try to use HCP to bake the tart,it might be due to heat control as it turn out that the skin is charred and the pineapple paste is not really cooked. Hence I decide to switch to use oven instead for the second batch. This time round, the pineapple tart turn out to be perfect!! Oven is still the best choice for baking!

Tung Yuan Dessert is one of my favorite dessert. Whenever I go clementi, I will go to buy the peanut soup with Tung Yuan. I was thinking whether I can cook this dessert at home and share with my family. This dessert take a long time to cook in order to be nice. The peanut have to be cooked until soft. Hence I decide to use slow cooker to cook the soup so that I won't have to monitor the fire. I will cook the soup in the morning, so that the soup will be ready in the evening/night. I had attached the photo of my peanut soup with Tung Yuan. Does it look good? Both my family and I love this soup although it is not as perfect as compared to the one bought at Clementi.

Chicken chop Experiment
I was watching channel U during one of the weekend and there is an advertisement showing how to grill the whole chicken using the Happy Call pan. The meat looks so juicy and delicious. I had never tried the happy call to cook chicken before. Hence decide to experiment it on last weekend.
I went to supermarket to buy boneless chicken thigh. Chicken thigh meat are more tender and juicy. Taking out the bone and skin from the chicken thigh, I just marinate it with some sauces and spices, and put in the HCP! Within minutes, the nice and juicy chicken chop is ready to eat. My husband loves it, as said that this is the best dish that I cooked using the HCP so far!

Muah Chee Experiment
I was surfing the internet to look for ideas for my happy call recipes. I came across the muah chee recipe and feel that it is quite easy to make the muah chee. Last weekend, I bought the glutinuous flour and the ground peanuts to prepare to make the Tung Yuan. Due to the busy weekend, I decide to switch to make muah chee instead. It turn out to be quite easy and fast task. I can make the muah chee in less than 10 minutes!
Last time, we usually eat muah chee when there is pasar malam. My mother will always bought them for us whenever there is pasar malam nearby our house. With this recipe and happy call, I can make muah chee anytime I want, it is so convenient. All thank to the happy call pan.

Dessert: Beancurd,Barley with Gingko
I have been wanting to try to make this dessert, Beancurd,Barley with Gingko. So I went to surf in the internet to look for the recipe. In the recipe, I saw one of the ingredient, red dates and was wondering whether to put in the dessert as I do not see any red dates in those dessert that are selling at the dessert shop outside. But In the end , I still put the red dates in and it turn out to be quite nice too. My family likes it, except my elder son as he do not like the barley taste. I will sure make this dessert again as it is quite a healthy dessert and I can control the sweetness of the dessert.

My first experiement with the happy Call Pressure Pan: Ham Burger

I was surfing the internet looking for good recipe and came across HappyCall Pan, a double side pressure pan from Korea. I read the review on this HappyCall pan and was quite tempted to get the pan. It help to make cooking faster, and most important of all, it use less oil for cooking(Which is healthier)!
After much consideration and support for my husband, I decided to buy this happy call.Indeed after using for 1-2 weeks, so far I am quite happy with the this pan and it really make cooking easier , faster and healthier!
